Dovetails History

Dovetails was founded in 1990 in Kent, England. We began by making special fires in response to individual requests. These were period replicas and we moved to make these available to more and more people as demand grew. We now have a range of ten fire surrounds covering nearly 400 years of architectural history, and other architectural features from garden planters to a long-awaited brick-effect Kitchen Range.

From humble beginnings - we are still very much a family business - we now export to over 15 different countries. So wherever you are - Tunbridge Wells or Tallahassee - we send your special goods safely to you. We continue to individually make all our miniatures in our Kent workshops – just as we started!
